Annapurna Circuit Trek
The Highlights of Nepal
Round the Year 2 17 Days
Journey Overview
Seventeen days. One legendary trail. A complete adventure of the Annapurna massif that takes you from steamy subtropical valleys to the roof of the world and back again. This isn't just a trek, it's a pilgrimage through the full spectrum of Himalayan beauty.
Your journey begins in the lush lowlands, where rice terraces cascade down hillsides and the Marsyangdi River cuts through deep gorges. Walk through rhododendron forests ablaze with spring color, crossing suspension bridges that sway high above rushing water. The landscape transforms with every step, Hindu villages give way to Tibetan Buddhist settlements, prayer flags replace corn stalks, and the air grows thinner as you ascend toward Manang.
At 5,416 meters, Thorong La Pass awaits, the highest point on the circuit and one of the world's most dramatic mountain crossings. Wake before dawn and climb through frozen darkness, prayer flags snapping in the wind, until the summit reveals a panorama that stops your heart: Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and the entire Himalayan range spread before you like a map of dreams.
But the journey doesn't end at the pass. Descend into Mustang's arid landscapes to Muktinath, where sacred flames burn from natural springs. Soak in Tatopani's rejuvenating hot springs, then climb through forests to Poon Hill for one final sunrise, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri glowing in morning light, a view that bookends your adventure with pure magic.
The Annapurna Circuit is the journey that sets the standard by which all others are measured.
