day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Adventure Outdoors’s representative will meet you upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport, and transfer you to hotel. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner. For dinner, you will be served excellent Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country's rich food culture.

day 2

City Sightseeing: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple, and Bauddhanath

After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour through UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to the 18th century. Swayambhunath Temple is popular among the foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. The arch formed white washed Stupa is made out of block and earth supporting an elevated tapered tower topped by a zenith of copper overlaid. The infinitely knowledgeable eyes of Lord Buddha lay on every one of the four sides of the tapered base. This slope is a mosaic of little Chaityas and Pagoda and is the most imperative Buddhist site in Nepal. Appreciate the perspectives of sprawling Kathmandu from the highest point of this world legacy site landmark. Pashupatinath Temple is situated on the banks of Bagmati river and is one of the major temples of Lord Shiva. The Bauddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which is built on the ancient trade route to Tibet.

Sundarijal – Chisapani(2300 m)

Drive to Sundarijal, a beautiful village in northeast border of Kathmandu city. We start to walk from Bus station of Sundarijal following Bagmati river. After checking in from National park entry point, the trail ascends to Mulkharka, a small Tamang village inside National park. Approximately, 5-6 hours, walk takes us to an astounding spot of Chisapani where you will spend the night today. As you take an exceptionally paced stroll up towards Chisapani, you will run over lovely forested territory, neighborhood town and villagers. You will appreciate the nature and the way of life of the region. Stay at a tea house in Chisapani.

day 4

Chisapani - Nagarkot (2175 m)

Wake up to a pleasant and crisp morning. Take your breakfast and begin the stroll of the day. It will take around seven hours to achieve Nagarkot, a dazzling perspective point and a pleasant farmland. You will again walk the trail getting a charge out of the nature and culture going through forested territory and towns disregarding the mountain ranges at the foundation. When you reach and register with your lodging in Nagarkot, you may jump at the chance to go for a decent wander around the town.

day 5

Nagarkot - Dhulikhel (1400 m)

Walk one more day of around six hours to another delightful town of Dhulikhel. As you stroll along the trail, mountains are still there extending along. Appreciate the nature and culture walk today too. Achieve Dhulikhel, check in hotel, relax. You may get a kick out of the chance to go out for a walk around the town.

day 6

Dhulikhel – NamoBuddha(1700 m)- Balthali(1400 m)

Today is the interesting day for walking. We will experience legendry monastery on the top of hill. The story behind monastery, the tranquil surroundings will definitely refresh us. Then we descend down to khopasi river to reach Balthali village. We pass through orange garden village, the typical Tamang settlements to reach Balthali village.

day 7

Balthali – Panauti – Banepa - Kathmandu

Take your breakfast at Balthali village resort and get ready to drive back to Kathmandu via Panauti. Halt at panuati and explore around Panauti—a Newari town. Drive for around one and half hours to reach Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Take a relaxed visit around Thamel for a flavorful lunch, pleasant back rub, keepsake shopping or simply walk around. Enjoy farewell dinner tonight.

Departure

Transfer to airport before 2 hours for international flight.
