There are basically two ridges for beginning of the expedition of Everest. Southeast ridge in Nepal and North ridge from Tibet and many other different ridges and points for climbing which are not frequently used. However, South East Ridge is the easiest and the most frequently used route from where the first ascent by Tenjing and Hillary was completed successful.
