There's no direct flight from Kathmandu to Japan, so China Southern routes through Guangzhou on both the outbound and return legs.
The trip includes a short hike near Mt Fuji and a fair amount of walking at temple complexes, shrines, and city districts like Asakusa and Akihabara. None of it is strenuous, but comfortable walking shoes are recommended throughout.
