Seven days across the Tibetan plateau, built around gradual acclimatization rather than a rushed sightseeing pace. The route moves from Lhasa's monastic core out to Yamdrok Lake, Gyantse, and Shigatse, covering the region's major palaces, monasteries, and one of its three sacred lakes. Altitude here regularly exceeds 4,000 metres, so the schedule is paced deliberately: rest on arrival, then build up through cultural sites before the longer overland legs. Permits, guide, and transport are handled entirely by us, since independent travel in Tibet isn't permitted.
