Nepal and mountaineering becomes symbiotic because of its mystic Himalayas and its unbeaten attractions to tourists throughout the world. Mt. Everest, Mt. Annapurna, and many other Himalayas have been a great attraction for expedition. Nepal has something to offer for mountaineering- the magnificent tumble of great snow summits, the highest mountain peaks above 8000 m in the world or great ridges. Out of fourteen peaks that rise above 8000 m, eight of them are in Nepal including the highest peaks in the world, Mt. Everest. Ever since the country has opened its peaks to climbers, Nepal Himalayas has become a great theatre of mountaineering activities with stories of success and failure to meet the ultimate challenge.
