Overview

Siklis trek is known as royal trek which lead us to the corner of Annapurna Conservation Area. In this trek, we experienced various geographical terrians, beautiful villages, rhododendron forest, alpine forest and great Himalayan range covering Mt. Manaslu and Mt. Annapurna. This Siklis Trek lies in the sanctuary where varieties of birds and animals are found.

Siklis is a beautiful village set in the foothills and valleys that lies south of the Annapurnas. It’s famous for scenery of majestic snow-capped peaks. This village is famous for Gurung culture, natural beauty and local women’s group singing and dancing. Annapurna Himalaya range, Mt Manaslu range can be clearly felt from here.

Our trek starts from Bijayapul khola, Pokhara and end at Hyamgja. We experience breathtaking scenery and traditional culture of Silkis village. We pass through thick rhododendron and deciduous oak forest watching Annapurna Himalayan range along with Manaslu Himalayan range. We can hear the beautiful chirping sound of the birds all along the trekking route.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1 Welcome Kathmandu (1300m)

    • Our representative will pick us up at the airport to hotel. Later on, we will be freshen up along with Nepali cultural programs and delicious Nepali food. we will discuss the journey later. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
  • Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing

    • After breakfast, we will go for sightseeing of cultural monuments and different temples located in Kathmandu. We will experience the valley’s olden days at Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar square. On our way back, We will also visit Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath temples. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
  • Day 3 Kathmandu to Pokhara (827m)

    • Today, we will drive to Pokhara. It is the main gateway of our trek and most beautiful place of our country also known as city of lakes. At evening, we will go for fresh walk near lakeside. Overnight at hotel, Pokhara.
  • Day 4 Bijayapur Khola(Pokhara) to Kalikasthan (1370m)

    • Our trek start from Bijayapur. From Bijayapur Khola we ascend through the rice fields of Rakhi Gaon to Chautara. After 4 hours of trekking we will reach kalikasthan. Our camping site near kalikasthan offer us a panoramic view of Pokhara city along with beautiful mountains and Begnas taal. Overnight at tent, Kalikasthan.
  • Day 5 Kalikasthan to Lamakhet (1720m)

    • Today, We head towards Lamakhet. Crossing the rivers, Bhaise and Nawaldanda the path soon will ascend. It will take 5 to 6 hours trek to reack Lamakhet. It is a beautiful place full of natural scenery with cold climate. Overnight at tent, Lamakhet.
  • Day 6 Lamakhet to Siklis (2000m)

    • After breakfast, we make our trial to Siklis, one of the oldest and largest Gurung village. We follow a path of the bank of Bhaise river until we reach Khilan village. It will take 5 tto 6 hours to reach there. Ascending gently and steady uphill and descending steeply we make our way to Parju village. From here, we ascend until we reach Silkis. Most of the people of Silkis are engage in agriculture and Animal husbandry. Overnight at tent, Siklis.
  • Day 7 Siklis to Forest camp (2200m)

    • Today, we head towards Neuli Kharka also known as Forest camp(2200m). We pass through thick Rhododendron and deciduous Oak forest. The shine of Rhododendron flower in the sunlight provides us an spectacular and picturesque view. Overnight at tent, Forest camp.
  • Day 8 Forest camp to Ghale Gaun (2000m)

    • Today, we make our way to Ghale Gaun passing through steep trial of thick forest of Forest camp. The sleeper trial will lead us to Ghale Gaun. It will take 6 to 7 hours long journey to reach Ghale Gaun. Ghale Gaun is a small village inhabited by Magar and gurung. We can stay here for a short time and familiarize ourselves with their culture. Overnight at tent, Ghale Gaun.
  • Day 9 Ghale Gaun to Hyamgja (1100m) to Pokhara

    • Today is the last day of our trek. We descend down the trial until we reach Hyamgja. It is located near the bank of Seti khola. From there, we will drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel, Pokhara.
  • Day 10 Pokhara sightseeing

    • Today, After lunch we will be roaming around Pokhara and visit the famous places of Pokhara including Davi’s falls, Mahadevcave, Tibetan Refugee camp, White Gumba, Begnas Lake and Seti River Gorge. We will boat here and also paraglide. At evening, you can enjoy live western music at pub or go for shopping. Overnight at hotel, Pokhara.
  • Day 11 Pokhara to Kathmandu

    • Today, we will drive back to Kathmandu.on our way. It will take 6 to 7 hours in bus. At evening, We can go for a shopping or stay at hotel. Overnight at hotel, Kathmandu.
  • Day 12 Departure

    • Our Royal Trek comes to an end today. Our guide will drop us to the airport. On our way to home we have plenty of time to recall our tour adventure and see pictures. We will also have time to plan our future adventure programs.
