Nepal, a country full of Rivers that has endless opportunity for Rafting and Kayaking. Originated in northern Himalayas, our rivers flows down to south with high speed which make the exceptional flow for Thrilling Raft and kayaking. We see marvelous mountain scenery, lush green forest, high stream, and rocky hills crossing different gorges. The entire country is full of rivers and will fulfill your thirst of adventure in water sports. This Thrills may be of half-day adventure or up to half-month journey. You can combine Rafting and Kayaking with any of our Activities (with trekking or Tour). Many people enjoy Rafting and Kayaking on the way back to Kathmandu on their Tours or Treks.

  • Popular rivers and their rapid class ratings:

    • Trishuli

      Nepal's most popular rafting river provides you an excellent opportunity to Raft for beginners and Experts. Rafting in Trishuli River is peace, pleasant and calm in some areas and there are numerous exciting rapids (Class II to Class IV). In Monsoon water level increases and it will be a tough challenging adventure with risk. This Rafting Adventure is just a 3 hours drive from Kathmandu and Pokhara.

      Longer rafting trips and Kayaking on the Trishuli are also possible.

      Seti River

      Seti, one of the mostbeautiful river of our country passes through stunning jungle scenery , green hills and valleys. This river is perfect for beginners rafters and also for those who are looking for a more idyllic rafting experience. Our rafting usually starts in Damauli right before we reach Pokhara. It is easily accessible place and can be enjoyed while we are in Nepal tour or any other Trekking.

      Bhote Koshi

      Love Risk? Love serious action? Then Bhote Koshi fascinates you. Blowing and Twisting down the Himalayas from Tibetan border provides you a rapid action grading Class IV to V. You will thrilled like you haven’t thrilled before. Keep going and challenge the River.

      Rafting on Bhote Koshi can be a daylong or a two day event. Driving 4 hours from Kathmandu, you will reach there. You can Combine your Rafting with Sensational fell of Bungee thrills.

      Marsyangdi

      The Marsyangdi is a magnificent, blue whitewater river with a spectacular mountain backdrop. Rafters and Kayakers rave about it. Rafting in this river is usually famous among trekkers trekking in Annapurna Circuit. Grading it above IV, Rafters and Kayakers must be experienced to swallow the thrills. It is also a longer time commitment – expect to spend at least 3-4 days on this trip.

      Get ready for the technical challenges presented by the Marsyangdi river. Rafting starts at either Bhulbhule, or further north at Ngadi. Jeeps leaving from Besi Sahar (7 hour drive from Kathmandu). Rafting are closed in Monsoon season.

      Kali Gandaki

      Flowing down from Himalayan kingdom of Mustang, Kali Gandaki provides you an thrilling adventure of Rafting grading from Class IV and V rapids. There are also Class III rapids and serene waters where we can enjoy the spectacular views of the Annapurna and pristine waterfalls.

      A 3 hour drive to west from pokhara brings you to the Rafting Adventure that you will encounter. This is a medium length trip (2 -3 Days) Feel the heat with rapid waters.

      Karnali River

      Rafting or Kayaking in Karnali is one of the best trips available in our country. This mightiest river originates from Mt. Kailash in Tibet and hence Karnali literally means ‘Holy water from the sacred mountain’. This river has rafting grade from class III to class IV. Covering magnificent gorges and tropical forest we come across Nepal’s aquatic wildlife. Rafting in Karnali not only thrills us but we experience natures beauty and different aquatic animals.

      It takes 22 hours by bus from Kathmandu. Welcome to the Nepal’s largest and Longest river and light the fire.

      Tamur River

      The Tamur, powerful and impressive river, is the sixth largest in Nepal. Tamur river rafting and kayaking gives you the feeling of a wilderness expedition. The huge grade IV and V rapids are challenging and exhilarating. The volume of water ensures non-stop river action. The adventure begins with an 18-hour bus ride from Kathmandu to Basantapur, followedby a 4-day trek upto the put-in point.

      This river delights you with glimpses of wildlife, and envelops you inwilderness, making for an unparalleled experience. You can combine with a trek to Kanchenjunga region and create a adventure story of your own.

      Arun River

      This arresting river Arun is only available for those undertaking an expedition. Most powerful and respected river of Nepal cut through Himalaya with deep and awesome gorges, lush valley and picturesque beaches. The powerful current and large water volume ensure huge and impressive rapids are encountered the length of this river journey.

      16 hour roadtrip from Kathmandu will lead you to the wild adventure. Grading class IV this river is challenging and techinically complex. This trip is 5 to 7 days long.

      Sun Koshi River

      Sun Koshi River Rafting, a classic river trip is famous for being one of the top ten river journeys in the world. Everyday the scenery is changing and the river becomes exciting and different. The beginning of the trip sees high mountains, open valley, forests and small remote villages and ends at open plains.

      The trip starts from Dolalghat, a 3 hour ride from Kathmandu. It has class II to III river rapids. We experience natures beauty. It will take 5 to 7 days to complete this water trip. We can continue our trek in Kanchanjunga region or come back to Kathmandu.
